The course introduces children to music theory (notes, scales, flats, sharps, rhythm). The main purpose of the course is for children to learn about and then start playing the piano and electric keyboards. In addition to the basics of music theory that are needed to complete the course, students learn to play the piano. Courses are adapted to the stage of development, ability, specific talent and orientation of each individual child. As well as playing from written music, children are encouraged to improvise and play by ear. Ours is an unconventional, freer way of teaching youngsters to play, where learning theory takes place alongside actually playing the instrument.
