The course provides an introduction to the basics of drumming, and develops the ability to create your own rhythm, which the participant also learns to write correctly using musical notation. We encourage collaboration with other musicians and develop a sense of musical freedom.

Drums are among the oldest musical instruments. The course covers various techniques and playing styles, mastering various rhythms and tempos, tuning the drums, setting up the drum kit and pedals, holding the drumsticks correctly and choosing suitable drumsticks. Participants gain experience through practice and performances. There is also a lot of emphasis on original compositions, which the participants create themselves with the help of teachers. In this way we stimulate their creativity without limiting them to specific musical genres. The course covers styles ranging from classical to rock, punk and pop.
