Painting for children 10 years and older
423,00 €
Children develop independent expression, use basic drawing and painting techniques, and so gain the opportunity and responsibility of visualising their desires. The approach is based on a dialogue between the teacher and the child, so that the child’s individual characteristics can be developed as best as possible – we focus on the development side of spatial and visual creativity, not just on the product.

Drawing and painting 10+
Painting workshops take place in Pionirski dom premises at Komenskega 9.
Workshops consist of small groups and use an individual approach, where each child can develop their own artistic language and spatial conception. Lines and colours come to life on the pictorial surface or in artistic miniatures. By freely transitioning between expressive styles and basic techniques, the course serves as a meaningful extension of art lessons at school for anyone with a desire for artistic or visual expression. More than the creation of finished works, it is cognitive and harmonious emotional development that are the aims of this drawing and painting class. With this kind of structuring of the visual world, the child starts to learn and use a concise artistic language enabled by the elements, contrasts and harmony of basic geometric and organic forms. Contents and starting points include: observational drawing and tracing, understanding the compositional visual image, abstraction and non-representational images, attempts at depicting a three-dimensional object on a pictorial surface, graphical visualisation, expressive, impressive and synaesthetic artistic expression (all the senses, combination of opposites and surreal visualisations).
The age indicated for the group is merely a guide, since everyone creates and develops individually. Groups consist of up to 8 children.
