Individual saxophone lessons, 30 minutes a week

We aim to introduce participants to the saxophone as an exceptional concert instrument with a wide tonal range and remarkable versatility. The saxophone is not only used in classical music but is a key element of jazz, pop, rock and other musical genres, which makes it attractive both to beginners and to those with prior musical knowledge. Individual saxophone lessons (30 minutes a week) are suitable for all age groups. The course caters for everyone, from young children encountering music for the first time to older learners wishing to take their musical experiences further or rediscover the joy of playing.

Participants gain an all-round musical education that covers both technical and creative aspects of playing the saxophone. They learn the basics of playing, such as correct hand positioning and the coordination of fingers, tongue and breathing, which allows the production of clean, full tones. Familiarisation with the basics of music theory, rhythm, notation and repertoire is a key part of the course. It helps participants understand musical structures and develop musical memory and a feeling for interpretation.

Alongside technical skills, participants learn consistency and develop important habits such as perseverance and responsibility, which help them master the instrument and achieve personal goals. Particular attention is dedicated to preparing participants for public performance, where they build confidence, focus and the ability to express themselves in front of an audience. The skills and experiences gained through this process are the basis for further musical education and open up possibilities for participation in various musical ensembles.

Encouraging group music-making

The course also encourages participants to make music as a group, where they develop a sense of teamwork, learn to listen to each other and develop musical communication. This also teaches them to connect with other musicians and allows them to discover the joy of cooperating with others to make music together. The process of learning the saxophone helps give them a positive attitude not only towards music but also towards other artistic genres, which promotes a broader cultural awareness and a feeling for art.

The saxophone is not only an instrument, it is a means of expression, of creation and of connection. Learning the saxophone opens the door to a world of musical creativity and expression and at the same time enriches lives with special musical experiences. All who wish to get to know the magical world of the saxophone are welcome, regardless of previous experience or age – let yourself be inspired and enchanted!
