For younger children, learning the guitar is a play-based activity. Older children learn about chord accompaniments, reading music, various playing techniques and different periods of music, develop their musical ear and learn the basics of improvisation and arrangement. We teach acoustic and electric guitar. Individual lessons offer the opportunity to adapt the course to children’s particular interests. The advanced course covers more demanding techniques and compositions and prepares students for secondary music school entrance exams. The guitar is one of the most popular instruments and course participants make music together and perform regularly at Pionirski dom events and elsewhere.
