Vito Marenče was educated in the field of classical guitar under the guidance of Professor Anton Črnugelj at the Franc Šturm Music School and at the Ljubljana music and ballet Conservatory. Additionally, he took jazz guitar lessons with Professor Aleš Stranjar. After completing the music school, he continued his studies at the Rotterdam Conservatorium, where he specialized in flamenco guitar under the mentorship of Professor Paco Peña. As a guitarist, he has performed on numerous stages both at home and abroad, including in Spain and the Netherlands. At present, he works as a band leader of the Vito Marenče Flamenco Group, which performs authored musical works with unique interpretations. Vito Marenče has collaborated with many renowned musicians and dancers from the worlds of jazz, ethnic music and flamenco, including Miguel Hiroshi, Jasmin Levy, Nuria Manglano, Carlos Lobo, Vasko Atanasovski, Darko Nikčević, Shabir Hussain, Udo Demant, Dani Manglano, Fran Vilchez, Ana Pandur, and others.
