Preparation for AGRFT entrance exams

Preparation for AGRFT (Academy of Theatre, Radio, Film and Television) entrance exams is a course designed to provide participants with in-depth individual guidance and exam preparation, while enabling work in a group environment, which is essential for gaining experience and motivation. Working in a group and in front of others is important preparation for performing in front of the admissions panel, since it allows participants to build confidence and face the reactions of an audience.

Participants are guided throughout the process by an experienced acting coach and performer, who offers comprehensive support and is available for extra individual lessons if needed. The course includes workshops focused on:

  • Exploring the internal mechanisms that drive creative acting performances.
  • Developing sensory and emotional sensitivity and rapid responsiveness.
  • Holistic development of the actor’s “instrument” – body, voice, and emotions.
  • Transforming stage fright from an obstacle into a positive excitement that enhances performance.
  • Strengthening independence and self-confidence in all forms of public performance.

Individual lessons focus on the four key areas of acting: ACTION, CHARACTER, GENRE and STYLE. Participants gain valuable knowledge of various acting techniques, explore diverse character traits, experiment with stylistic and genre-specific elements and practise performing complex actions onstage.

At these workshops they will use various methods and exercises to:

  • Explore internal creative mechanisms.
  • Develop sensory and emotional responsiveness.
  • Develop their acting “instrument” and expression.
  • Transform stage fright into productive energy.
  • Build confidence in public performance.

The course as a whole provides thorough preparation for all the challenges of the entrance exam.
