Interest in learning the Korean language and getting to know Korean culture has skyrocketed recently. This surge has been greatly fuelled by the global popularity of Korean music, films, TV series, and other pop culture, as well as South Korea’s economic and technological rise.

Its achievements extend to literature as well, as evidenced by the Nobel Prize in 2024 awarded to the Korean writer Han Kang.
