Do you often experience tension in your body, shallow breathing or a tired voice? The Body, Breath, Voice course is designed as a holistic experience that helps you improve your breathing, release tension and discover a more natural, effortless use of your voice through simple yet effective exercises. This course approach is based on the MDH breathing coordination method, which follows the principle of minimal effort for maximum effect, alongside the facilitator’s extensive singing experience. As modern lifestyles, stress and prolonged sitting often disrupt natural breathing patterns, targeted exercises will help you work directly on the muscles and structures that support or hinder breathing, gradually restoring a more balanced and relaxed state of the body.
A particular focus of the course is on a calm and steady exhalation, which not only improves the quality of breathing but also helps to calm the nervous system, enhances relaxation and supports a more stable voice. You will also explore the basics of healthy voice production, clarify the often-misunderstood concept of vocal support (appoggio) and, through practical exercises, learn how to produce sound without strain.
We will also explore the body’s resonating spaces—its natural voice amplifier—and, through targeted exercises, activate and release the areas essential for a clear, full and healthy sound. You will also learn a few simple vocal warm-up exercises that help prevent vocal fatigue in just a few minutes a day.
The Body, Breath, Voice course is suitable for everyone, and no prior experience is required. All exercises are designed so that you can easily integrate them into your daily life, helping you improve your well-being, breathing and voice in the long term.
