Preparation for the English Matura exam
This course prepares students for the English Matura exam by systematically revising and consolidating key grammar topics. These represent the basis for successfully tackling tasks related to use of the language in everyday situations. The focus of the course is on an integrated approach to learning. Our course covers the four key language skills: reading, listening, speaking and writing. We also devote plenty of attention to the analysis and interpretation of literary texts. This gives course participants a better understanding of the requirements of the Matura exam.
Flexibility and an individualised approach
The course is designed to provide uniform coverage of all the areas tested in the Matura exam. At the same time, however, we remain flexible, since the actual amount of time spent on individual topics is adapted to the needs and wishes of the course participants. This individualised approach is possible thanks to the small size of the groups, which allows for more personalised treatment and a greater focus on the specific challenges faced by secondary school students preparing for the Matura exam.
The course lasts 30 school periods (30 x 45 minutes), which enables gradual and systematic preparation throughout the academic year. This approach means that students have enough time to consolidate their knowledge in depth and are able to avoid the stress and confusion associated with last-minute revision.
