Špela Škof recently joined Pionirski dom as an educator, inspiring curious young minds to explore the world of natural sciences and helping them discover the magic of science in everyday life. She holds a degree in biology and home economics from the Faculty of Education, and a master’s degree in Ecology and Biodiversity from the Biotechnical Faculty of the University of Ljubljana. In her teaching, she focuses on a modern, interactive and experiential approach to learning science, including experiments, fieldwork, science workshops and scientific projects. She believes that science is most engaging when we can feel it, touch it, and explore it ourselves.
