Tadeja Vovk is the head of the Department of foreign languages and cultures. She is a teacher of French and Spanish and occasionally teaches both languages at various levels – from young children to elementary and high school students. She is also an examiner for the international DELE Spanish exams (A1, A2, A2/B1 Escolar, B1, B2) at Pionirski dom, which is an authorised DELE Exam Centre with the licence of Instituto Cervantes. She actively participates at Pionirski dom language events, and her greatest joy is watching the development of students who grow from little 5-year-olds into true masters of French and Spanish. In addition to her work, she is passionate about travel, dance, and Latin America, where she has travelled a lot, in particular, because of the language and the temperament of the people there. Her biggest travel being a journey around the world. She complemented her language knowledge with various personal development and training programmes, which she incorporates in managing the department.
