Klemen Senica

After completing his studies in Japanese Studies and Cultural Sociology at the Faculty of Arts in Ljubljana, Klemen Senica continued his postgraduate studies at the Department of Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology, where he earned his PhD in 2015. During both the undergraduate and the postgraduate levels, he spent a year on a study exchange at the University of Tsukuba in Japan, deepening his knowledge of the Japanese language and learning about Japanese culture and society. From November 2019 to October 2021, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Tokyo, which is considered Japan's main educational and research institution. In addition to teaching Japanese at Pionirski dom, he also works as an external associate at the Juraj Dobrila University of Pula in Croatia, where he teaches courses related to East Asian history and culture.
