Domen Rob, born in Šempeter pri Gorici, began his studies in the Italian language and literature and Slovenian studies at the Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana, where he is currently finishing his master's in Italian pedagogical studies.

His love for the Italian language developed in elementary school when he took Italian lessons as an elective subject for two years, and continued through high school. Since the 2023/24 school year, he has been collaborating with Pionirski dom, where he teaches Italian individual lessons.
