Bjanka Kršmanc is a theatre educator at the Pionirski dom Theatre Studio, a mentor to two theatre groups, and the founder and director of the Children's Festival of Theatre Dreams, which allows young people to explore and express themselves through various theatrical approaches. In her work, she places a special emphasis on improvisation, using it as a key tool for developing acting skills and imagination. Together with young creators, she explores the world of dramatic heroes, diverse stage situations, complex relationships, and the entire range of emotional shades that shape authentic theatrical expressions. Bjanka believes that theatre is a space of freedom, where adolescents can shape their ideas through play, movement, and words, transforming them into true stage masterpieces. She is actively involved in projects that promote cultural and artistic education and empower young people through art. Under her directorial guidance, the plays Bang, Bang, Die, which won the Visionary award for outstanding acting coordination at the Festival of Youth Theatre Groups of Slovenia, and Perspectives, which won the award for Best Theatre Production at the Transgenerations Festival 2012, were both recognised.
