Anika Logar, a native of Ljubljana with roots in the Gorenjska region, continued her studies at the Faculty of Arts at the University of Ljubljana after finishing Bežigrad secondary school where she focused on a double major in Slovene Studies and Italian Language and Literature.
Teaching is her great passion, as she believes that the best way to pass on knowledge is in a fun and relaxed manner. During her studies, she tutored primary and secondary school students and prepared them for their final exams. At Pionirski dom, she teaches both Italian and Slovene, and her lessons are something special, as her dog, Lori, often joins the classes by arrangement with the students and their parents, making her very popular among the learners. In addition to teaching, Anika is also involved in translation work and research in the field of translation studies.
