Ana Vipotnik

Ana Vipotnik holds degrees in Russian studies and sociology of culture and has pursued music for numerous years as a singer and songwriter. She is a permanent member of the Fake Orchestra band, known for their modern adaptations of Slovenian folk songs. With the band, she has performed at numerous important events locally and abroad, from Istanbul to New York, and participated in the release of several albums, including Fake Live (2001), Fake World (2004), Made in China (2009), KUD (2013), and Tribute to Billie Holiday.
In addition to the above, she is engaged in setting poetry to music and has collaborated as a vocalist on numerous projects and recorded a range of CDs, including with Boris Cavazza, Pero Lovšin, Janez Dovč, and Vlado Batista. In 2015, she discovered the MDH breathing coordination method, which helped improve her singing technique. She obtained certification and trained in Los Angeles and Lausanne. In Ljubljana, she runs a studio where she offers individual breathing coordination sessions and workshops on optimal breathing and healthy voice use.
