Anja Ahčin is a sinologist and sociologist of culture and a doctoral student at the Faculty of Arts, Department of Asian Studies. Her first lengthy stay in China and intensive study in Sichuan left her completely taken in by the Chinese culture. Since then, Anja has been intensively improving her knowledge of Chinese and researching Chinese culture. She is particularly attracted to diversity – people, languages and cultures, as she sees in them the richness of living on our planet.

She teaches children and adults at Pionirski dom. She focuses on the language, which is particularly beautiful because of its tones, and the cultural content which is essential for a comprehensive understanding of this ancient tradition.
