International certificates offer numerous benefits

International certificates offer numerous advantages that enable individuals to enhance their life and career opportunities at many levels. Obtaining these certificates brings advantages that are reflected in both educational and career contexts.

The major benefits of international certificates include:

  • Greater opportunities for enrolment at a broad range of educational institutions, including secondary schools and universities. Applicants have a competitive advantage when it comes to choosing their desired education programme.
  • Better chances of obtaining various types of scholarship, since international certificates are evidence of the level of knowledge and skills attained, which can be recognised and rewarded by scholarship committees.
  • Improved access to educational opportunities throughout Europe and beyond. International certificates make it easier for candidates to be admitted to study programmes in other countries, where this form of certification of knowledge is often a precondition for enrolment.
  • Increased employment opportunities, since employers value candidates with internationally recognised competences. Individuals can find work more easily in their home country or look for opportunities in the international labour market.
  • Better work and study mobility, which is not limited to physical presence. International certificates also open the door to participation in remote programmes and online projects. This allows individuals to learn and work throughout Europe and beyond, increasing flexibility and access to opportunities without geographical limitations.

Obtaining an international certificate not only means confirmation of knowledge but increased opportunities for personal and professional growth and mobility in the modern world.

Goethe-Institut exams

Preparations for Goethe-Institut exams for children and teenagers are integrated into the regular course programmes at Pionirski dom.

We recommend German language exams (Goethe-Institut Ljubljana) to children and teenagers (ages 10 to 18) because:

  • They are aligned with the Common European Framework Of Reference (CEFR) for foreign languages.
  • They provide an interesting first exam experience for later external and international exams and national assessments (NPZ and Matura), since preparing for these exams helps develop test-taking strategies.
  • They act as an incentive even for less confident children and provide motivation for further study.
  • They focus on practical use of the language in everyday situations.
  • They are designed for and adapted exclusively to children and teenagers.
  • They are objectively and professionally designed.
