International exam DELE B2/C1 para escolares

B2 – Spanish Language Diploma (level B2) certifies sufficient language competence to communicate in ordinary, everyday situations of communication which do not require specialised use of language.

C1 – Spanish Language Diploma (level C1) certifies a high level of linguistic competence of the user. The candidate has a broad vocabulary including idiomatic and colloquial expressions.

Important: Candidates who successfully pass the DELE B2/C1 para Escolares exam obtain either the A2 diploma or B1 diploma, depending on the score achieved.

B2 – Spanish Language Diploma certifies that:

• You are able to understand the essence of spoken text and complex written texts, which may involve abstract topics in various forms of the Spanish language, or technical texts in standard language, especially if they contain familiar professional vocabulary.
• You are able to communicate fluently and naturally with different Spanish-speaking people without effort from either of the speakers.
• You can write clear and detailed texts on various topics, including the text content and argumentation or defending one’s individual viewpoints.

The Diploma de español C1 certifies that:

• You can easily understand and process a wide range of diverse spoken and written texts, which may be fairly long and appear in different language registers, including the ability to recognize implied meanings, relationships, and intentions.
• You are able to express yourself fluently, spontaneously, and without significant difficulty, while maintaining linguistic accuracy and appropriateness.
• You can find suitable expressions for any situation, whether in social, professional, or academic contexts.
• You use established set phrases fluently and effectively, along with appropriate linguistic resources, to logically, coherently, and meaningfully connect and convey information in more complex texts.
