French for older children – beginners
French is known as the language of love, culture, fashion, literature, music and world-famous cuisine. Famous French names include Victor Hugo, Charles Baudelaire, Édith Piaf, Gérard Depardieu, Brigitte Bardot and many others. Did you know that half of all English words are of French origin? So knowing French is helpful not only other for learning other Romance languages but for English too! That is why French for older children – beginners is the right choice.
It is important for children to start learning French at an early age, because their own enthusiasm, directness and eagerness to speak make it easier for them to overcome the problems that arise during learning. The particularities of French are reflected in its pronunciation, which is why it is very important for children to start learning it as early as possible. They are aided by their relaxed attitude and their spontaneous imitation of speech, which helps them internalise the new linguistic system more quickly and later speak French fluently. We introduce vocabulary and structures via carefully chosen materials that are interesting, varied and colourful so as to attract the child’s attention. Lessons are lively, interactive and fun and based on the development of communication skills. The courses also include preparation for the international DELF exams.
