Dance for children – Kiče group brings together young dancers who explore the world of contemporary dance through their own unique movement abilities and curiosity. Their creativity is the driving force of their work, since through dance they tell stories inspired by various artistic genres such as visual art, poetry, prose and even music. Movement is not just physical expression for them, it is a way to bring to life, through the body and forms of movement, worlds that are full of feelings, meanings and symbols.

As well as exploring expression through movement, group members combine dance with other forms of art. They experiment with the power of words, poetry, voice and sound, enriching their creativity and enabling multi-layered artistic expression. In this way, they build a deeper understanding of the connection between different artistic media, which opens the door to innovative ways of storytelling and expression. Dance thus becomes a holistic experience encompassing body, mind and spirit.

Strengthening mutual connection, cooperation and the development of social skills

The Kiče group is not just a space for developing technical and creative skills. There is also a particular emphasis on mutual connection, cooperation and the development of social skills. By creating together, members strengthen their sense of belonging, respect and support, which helps them build positive interpersonal relationships. At the same time they learn persistence, self-discipline and responsibility, which are important skills both for artistic work and for life in general.

Participation in numerous dance competitions

Their achievements can be seen at local, regional and national dance meetings, where on multiple occasions they have won gold medals for their performances. Their work reflects not only technical skill, but also sincere dedication to artistic expression. The bravest members participate every year in the prestigious Young Creators Dance Competition, OPUS 1 – Dance Miniature category. Some have already won gold awards for their original solo performances at this competition, confirming their talent and hard work.

The Kiče dance group is more than just a dance group – it is a space for exploration, creation and growth. Group members have an opportunity to express themselves through movement, explore art and build friendships based on a shared love of dance. Through their work, they prove that dance is a universal language that connects people and opens the door to endless creative possibilities.
