Luka Lončar
Luka Lončar se je rodil v Trstu in obiskoval osnovno šolo Prežihovega Voranca ter nižjo srednjo šolo Simona Gregorčiča v Dolini (Italija), obe s slovenskim učnim jezikom. Po mali maturi je nadaljeval šolanje na Srednji šoli Izola, smer Gastronomija in turizem. Leta 2020 je maturiral in se vpisal na dvopredmetni dodiplomski študij italijanskega jezika in književnosti ter slovenistike na Filozofski fakulteti Univerze v Ljubljani. Diplomiral je leta 2024 in se isto leto vpisal na magistrski študij istih smeri.
Že v srednji šoli je začel z individualnim poučevanjem italijanščine, pozneje pa delal tudi kot prevajalec. Kot pedagog v Pionirskem domu deluje od šolskega leta 2022/2023.
Luka Lončar was born in Trieste and attended the Prežihov Voranc Primary School and the Simon Gregorčič Lower Secondary School in Dolina (Italy), both with Slovene as the language of instruction. After completing his lower secondary education, he continued his studies at the Izola Secondary School, specialising in gastronomy and tourism. He graduated in 2020 and then enrolled in a double major undergraduate programme in Italian Language and Literature and Slovene Studies at the Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana. He graduated in 2024 and enrolled in the master's programme in the same fields that same year.
While at secondary school, Luka began teaching Italian in individual lessons and later worked as a translator. He has been working as a teacher at Pionirski dom since the 2022/2023 school year.
