Jošt Lampret
Jošt Lampret je eden najbolj iskanih in vsestranskih kontrabasistov ter bas kitaristov v Sloveniji. Glasbeno pot je začel z zasedbama Terrafolk in Simbolični orkester, kjer je razvijal ljubezen do etno glasbe in svoj poklicni glasbeni izraz. Po študiju na Konservatoriju za glasbo in balet ter Akademiji za glasbo v Ljubljani se je uveljavil kot klasični kontrabasist in nastopal z orkestri, kot so Simfonični orkester RTV Slovenija, Slovenska filharmonija ter Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester.
Ljubezen do jazz glasbe je odkril med študijem in ustanovil zasedbo P'Jays, s katero je izdal dva albuma avtorske glasbe. Sodeloval je z vrhunskimi glasbeniki različnih žanrov, kot so Majid Bekkas, Elliot Mason, Vlado Kreslin, Iztok Mlakar in mnogi drugi. Redno deluje v zasedbah Teo Collori & Momento Cigano, Wiyaala & The YagaYagas ter Eastern European Bass Ensemble.
Jošt Lampret is one of the most sought-after and versatile double bass players and bass guitarists in Slovenia. He began his musical career with the bands Terrafolk and Simbolični Orkester, where he developed a love for ethnic music and his professional musical expression. After studying at the Conservatory of Music and Ballet and the Academy of Music in Ljubljana, he established himself as a classical double bassist, performing with orchestras such as the RTV Slovenia Symphony Orchestra, the Slovenian Philharmonic, and the Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester.
He discovered his love for jazz music during his studies and founded the band P'Jays, with which he released two albums of original music. He has collaborated with top musicians from various genres, such as Majid Bekkas, Elliot Mason, Vlado Kreslin, Iztok Mlakar, and many others. He regularly performs in the bands Teo Collori & Momento Cigano, Wiyaala & The YagaYagas, and the Eastern European Bass Ensemble.
