film: DA BURD

author: Khei Ribarić

Jury's verdict:

In a surprisingly masterful and at the same time youthfully playful way, the film takes us from monotonous gray everyday life to the psychedelic interior of a growing teenager. A seemingly simple story about an unusual friendship that defies even gravity, unexpectedly addresses us with a subtle criticism of the consumerist world of adults. The interweaving of fantasy and reality seamlessly connects with the technically sophisticated use of music, costumes and editing, creating a fresh and original film product.
