Pionirski dom - Center for Youth Culture, with the support of the European Union, actively participates in international projects, such as PANG - performing arts for the next generations, ELPIS, Poets of Today - Voices of Tomorrow, within the framework of which the institute was also presented at the famous Frankfurt Fair 2023 and numerous others.
We cordially invite you to the round table and press conference within the framework of the PANG project: Young people, Creativity and Ends of the World - theory and practice, which will be held on Tuesday, August 20, at 12 AM in the Festival hall.
We will talk about the importance of creative expression among young people, about the recent OECD research on the decline of creativity among young people and how we can offer young people the best conditions for their holistic development.
The speakers will be:
- Mojca Dimec, professor at SVŠGUGL, co-founder of the theater high school program and co-founder of the ŠILA program,
- Jerneja Munc, professor of fine arts, specialist in clinical art therapy, president of the Association for Strength, and
- Bjanka Kršmanc, theater pedagogue, head of the Education and Development Department at Pionirski dom and project manager of several international projects.
The round table will be moderated by Nina Gaspari, host of the entrepreneurial podcast Lovim ravnotežje.
This will be followed by a performance by female dance artists and a presentation of the project by participating partner institutions from Italy, Portugal, Estonia and Slovenia. The young participants of the PANG project, Maša Macedoni and Vid Rovšek, will also share their experiences with us.
