Impro / open mic evening with improvisers and dancers from Pionirski dom. Through theater improvisation and contemporary dance, the performers will ask themselves questions on various topics; what do we want less of and what do we want more of? What to do with the feeling that the world is coming to an end? What is really important to us and what should be important to us? All this and more!

The intricate labyrinths of our lives at different levels - intimate, communal, social reflect the times we live in and open up more questions than answers - what do we want less of and what do we want more of? What to do with the feeling that the world is coming to an end? Where to find ideas for choosing new directions? How to gather the courage to take different paths, to activate, to overcome the fears that paralyze us? What is really important to us and what should be important to us? Can we laugh about it all together or is it already too late?
In the impro / open mic evening, a mixed group of improvisers and dancers from Pionirski dom - Center for Youth Culture, who participate in the international cooperation project PANG, will open up these questions and offer their answers through improvisational theater and contemporary dance, and we will also open the space for contributions viewers - if you want to talk about this topic in the form of a monologue, a song, a dance, an improvised or prepared scene or in any other way of performance that mainly uses the body for expression, you are invited to enrich the program with your contributions! Of course, we also invite those who will offer their support as spectators to the event.
Entry to the event will be free, and the evening is co-financed by the Creative Europe program.
The PANG - Performative Arts for Next Generation project brings together four partners from Italy, Estonia, Portugal and Slovenia, who, with groups of young people, explore topics that have opened up in connection with the post-pandemic, pre-apocalyptic world - courage, balance, emptiness, hope, cooperation and similar themes.
