Otmar Taber
Otmar Taber je izobraževanje iz jazz kitare zaključil na Konservatoriju za glasbo in balet v Ljubljani pri Janiju Modru, kjer je osvojil prvo mesto na tekmovanju TEMSIG v kategoriji jazz solo. Po končanem konservatoriju je nadaljeval študij kompozicije na Akademiji za glasbo v Ljubljani in tam tudi magistriral. Eno leto je študiral na Akademiji za glasbo Franz Liszt v Budimpešti v okviru študentske izmenjave. V preteklosti je ustvarjal v žanrih metala (The Pattern) in jazza (Otmar Taber kvartet, Big Band AG, Big Band Vrhnika). Trenutno vodi svoj rock projekt Oti ter komponira klasično glasbo za različne zasedbe. Njegova mini opera Umetna ljubezen je bila izvedena v operi.
Otmar Taber completed his jazz guitar education at the Conservatory of Music and Ballet in Ljubljana under Jani Moder, where he won first place in the TEMSIG competition in the jazz solo category. After completing the conservatory, he continued his studies of composition at the Academy of Music in Ljubljana and obtained his master's degree. He spent a year studying at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest as part of a student exchange programme. In the past, he had been active in the genres of metal (The Pattern) and jazz (Otmar Taber Quartet, Big Band AG, Big Band Vrhnika). Currently, he runs his rock project Oti and composes classical music for various ensembles. His mini-opera "Artificial Love" (“Umetna ljubezen”) has been performed in the opera.
