Theatre at Pionirski dom is characterised by relaxed communication, boundless imagination, playfulness, freedom of expression, fun and creative problem-solving and mutual support. A wide range of different theatre programmes are available, including ŠILA impro theatre. Theatrical improvisation techniques enable young participants to acquire and develop social and individual skills. They practise performing in front of an audience, learn to speak clearly, loudly and distinctly, and immerse themselves in different roles, emotions and states. They collaborate with others while also gaining experience in taking the initiative and learning how to perform optimally in stressful situations and alleviate them. They also acquire valuable theatrical, stage and life experiences that help them in their personal growth and creative expression.

A space for creativity where you can dream and create without limits

ŠILA is a space for creativity, where everyone is allowed to dream and create without limits. It is a form of theatre where, with a bit of imagination, all the props and costumes in the world are at our disposal.  It is spontaneous creation, cultural recreation, game-playing and plenty of laughter. As well as fun, ŠILA encourages personal growth, the development of the imagination and the strengthening of self-confidence and team spirit.

No prior experience is required for ŠILA. Everyone who is part of another theatre group at Pionirski dom is welcome, regardless of age or experience. What matters is simply the desire to act, explore and collaborate in a relaxed and supportive environment.

Once the group is formed, its members meet once a week to strengthen their acting and improvisation skills and mutual connection through a variety of games and exercises. In addition to regular rehearsals, they meet on Fridays for performances with groups from other schools and organisations. These performances bring a special dynamic, allowing for an exchange of ideas, energy and humour, as well as providing an opportunity to explore new ways of expression and create unforgettable moments together on stage. ŠILA is more than just theatre – it is an adventure that fosters creativity, friendship and boundless joy.
