The Painting course is intended for children from the age of 13 and is designed as an activity that not only affects the child’s development of creative thinking and artistic expression, but also promotes their self-confidence and social interaction through artistic creation. Children will learn about various drawing and painting techniques, through which they will create different motifs. Some of the motifs that are focused on are: still life, figure, portrait, self-portrait, landscape, drawing from memory/imagination.

Painting and drawing courses for teenagers are suitable for all children aged 11 and over. Year-long art courses take place once a week from September to June in the premises of the Pionirski dom Art Centre (Komenskega 9, Ljubljana).
Painting and drawing courses are designed as an activity that not only influences the development of creative thinking and artistic expression but also encourages individual interests, builds confidence and fosters social interaction through artistic creation.
Participants will learn a range of different drawing and painting techniques and use them to create various artworks. They will draw from observation, memory and their imagination.
