Italian for children – with prior knowledge

The list of reasons why learning Italian is useful is a long one. The geographical closeness of Italy means that children can start learning it from an early age and immediately begin putting it into practice on family trips to nearby Trieste, Venice and other popular destinations. Your children will be especially happy and proud when they realise that the language helps them communicate with children their own age. Or perhaps you have family in Italy: knowing Italian is a way for your children to form an even closer connection with them.

The course also offers genuine contact with Italian children’s literature and music, which represent an integral part of the lessons, thanks in part to the unique musicality of the language. Thanks to this approach, we have already discovered a number of musical and/or linguistic talents!

We supplement and update our textbooks and other materials every year, thanks to our contacts with the best and most important publishing houses and their representatives both here in Slovenia and in Italy.

The courses are designed for different ages and levels, from complete beginners to learners with prior knowledge. The content of each course is adapted to the goals and wishes of the participants. We also offer individual lessons and lessons for groups of two and three. Learners take part in a range of exhibitions, projects and festivals and a final event.
