The course includes developing reading and listening comprehension as well as written and oral expression. Carefully selected learning materials enable students to move from a lower level to a higher one. In small groups, each individual has plenty of opportunities to exchange knowledge and experience, directly express opinions and make new, unforgettable friendships. The courses are taught by Slovene and foreign teachers.

Primary and secondary school students can choose beginners courses or advanced courses. Many of today’s secondary school students got their first exposure to Italian language and culture at Pionirski dom when they were 5 or 6 years old. The course for secondary school students is aligned with the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) for foreign languages, which means that participants can also take international exams (CILS, PLIDA) and obtain internationally recognised certificates.
