In today’s world, English has become a lingua franca, so knowledge of English is already seen as something that is more or less essential. Wherever you are in the world, English will undoubtedly be a language in which you will be able to communicate. Pionirski dom offers a wide range of language courses, including English for adults.
If you are planning to go to university or are already a student, ask yourself these questions:
- Will some of my course materials be in English?
- Will I have to spend some time abroad as part of my studies?
- Might I one day want to study or work in a country where knowing English will be an advantage?
- Will I need proof of my proficiency in English for a job?
If the answer to any of these questions is yes, then your secondary school English will certainly not be enough. That’s why it’s so important to keep building your foreign language skills.
Diverse courses and small groups
English for adults courses are aimed at university students and adults and are taught in small groups, with both beginners and advanced courses available. Advanced groups consist of students whose knowledge of English is at a high level, meaning that there are all the more opportunities for in-depth discussions and activities that cover a very wide range of topics. Students from a range of different fields can carry over the knowledge and experience gained at university to their English lessons, where they can learn to express their opinions and views of the world in a foreign language.
The courses are designed for different ages and levels, from complete beginners to learners with prior knowledge. The content of each course is adapted to the goals and wishes of the participants.
If in addition to the Matura certificate you need an internationally recognised certificate proving your knowledge of English, you can also use our courses to prepare for one of the Cambridge Assessment English exams and obtain a certificate that you can use to study, work or live abroad (e.g. B2 First (FCE), C1 Advanced (CAE), C2 Proficiency (CPE), IELTS).
